Dear friends of music,

With 25 years behind us, we look forward to the next 25 years with optimism.  Why? - Because of you, our supporters.  The generous donations and full houses speak volumes.  Artists call and email nearly every day to try to be featured on our series.  The word has spread among performers that we are an appreciative audience and are excellent hosts.  Perhaps you will share this brochure or refer someone to our website to spread this good news.

As you look over this year’s brochure, you will note that the quality of these concerts is very high.  Soprano Marilyn Moore and her pianist, Carlos César Rodriguez, come to us from the DC area.  All the way from Canada, True North Brass comes to us in memory of Mildred Jayne, a long time Jekyll resident and fan of Island Concert.  Bäverstam, Cellist, is a dual citizen of the United States and Sweden, currently studying in Boston. His pianist, Finehouse, was born in St. Petersburg, Russia.  The ensemble in residence at Florida International University in Miami, the Amernet String Quartet is rich in experience and talent.

Please visit our website:  www.IslandConcertAssociation.org  Schedule, bios of performers and lots of other information await your perusal, as well as a guestbook where you can post your comments about our concert series.  You may save a check and a stamp and donate online if you wish.  Look us up on FACEBOOK and join the list of fans, as well.  Either way, we hope that you will respond with enthusiasm to the upcoming season.

Once more, consider your generosity an investment this year.  The cultural life of our community is very important to our well-being.  We take a leap of faith each year and plan for success.  Take that leap with us and mail your check without delay.  We can’t wait to.

I am looking forward to welcoming you back at the front door of St. Simons Presbyterian this next season. The concerts are free and open to the public, as always, because of your generous support.

Thank you in advance for your membership,

Rhonda Hambright - Artistic Director
