The Island Concert Association
presents , Piano, in a concert
on
Tuesday, November 29,
7:30 p.m. at The St. Simons
Presbyterian Church, 205 Kings
Way, St. Simons Island, Georgia.
The concert is free and open to
the public.
Soprano
Marilyn Moore is originally
from Brunswick and has a
successful singing career in the
Baltimore/DC area and points
beyond. She has had engagements
with the New York City Opera,
Michigan Opera Theater, and the
National Symphony. She was
described by The Washington Post
as exhibiting “natural dramatic
artistry.”
Her accompanist, Carlos César
Rodriguez, is in demand as a
concert
pianist and was invited by The
Smithsonian Institution to
perform in its 150th anniversary
concert. He made his solo debut
at Carnegie Hall at age 21 and
has since performed at the
Kennedy Center, the Corcoran
Gallery and the Royal Palace of
music in Salzburg, Austria.
For twenty five years The Island
Concert Association has brought
artists of exceptional talent to
The Golden Isles in free
concerts. The series is
supported by contributions from
individuals, corporations and
foundations. Contributions may
be made on the web site. The
Island Concert Association is a
